A LITTLE HISTORY
Thirty years ago, most of us were printing our work as custom hand made Cibachrome prints for archival fine art work. Times and technology have changed, and for those of us that now work in the digital realm, inkjet printers have become the printing method of choice.
Today, we now have archival papers and pigment inks that rival, and in most cases exceed the quality of Cibachrome prints in detail, sharpness, and color fidelity. Most papers and inks used by today's photographic artists have lifetimes that exceed 75 years with a few even going beyond. Prints made on these papers capture the saturation, contrast range, and vivid detail that digital files have given us.
THE PRINTS
There is something special about the tactile feel of holding and viewing an archival quality print in one's hands. For this reason, I have always had prints made throughout my career. There is NO comparison between a fine art print and seeing an image on a computer screen, regardless of the screen's resolution.
All of my images are available in open editions with the exception of those shown on the Getty Images Page which are limited editions of 50. These prints are currently printed using archival pigment inks on EPSON Premium Pearl Lustre paper, a semi-matte smooth fine art paper that is an archival museum quality with an expanded color gamut, natural contrast and high ink load. It has superb ink handling and sharpness qualities that produce a beautiful print with depth, saturation, and longevity.
All prints are made locally on an Epson 9600 UltraChrome pigment printer. I have a personal and professional relationship with these people that goes back many years. An A4 size test print is made each time before creating the final print. Each print is hand inspected at the time of printing to ensure they meet my exacting standards for color fidelity and sharpness.
In an effort to make my work available to the widest possible audience I have set my prices quite reasonable. My preferred print sizes are 12" x 18" and 16" x 24". All sizes come with a 1/2" white border yielding final paper size of 13" x 19", 17" x 25", and 25" x 37" respectively. Each print is hand signed on the border. Other sizes are available upon request. The prices for the Getty 'Limited Editions' are the same.

* NOTE - I am often on the road for lengths of time that keep me away from the office. All orders will be processed as soon as possible but delivery times can be up to 2 weeks from the order date.
MONEY BACK GUARANTEE
I realize that it is something of a leap of faith to buy a fine art photograph after having only seen a small image on a computer screen. For this reason, all of my prints are sold with a NO QUESTIONS ASKED, MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. If you are not totally delighted with the print you receive, ship it back for a full refund.
I know that many collectors and lovers of fine art photography are still coming to terms with the arrival of digital prints. Some wonder if a digital print should be considered a true photograph, given the ability to manipulate and modify an original photographic image on a computer. Keeping in mind that others who have gone before me radically manipulated their images in the traditional darkroom, Ansel Adams being one of these artists who did so with every print he made, I create art and as such my images are manipulated to suit my own personal artistic vision. And so for me, digital printmaking becomes merely a means to accurately translate my vision onto paper.
